The American Public Health Association (APHA) Get Ready campaign helps Americans prepare themselves, their families and their communities for all types of disasters and hazards, including infectious disease, pandemic flu,  natural disasters and other emergencies.

To help in the fight of spreading germs, they are offering a free hand-washing timer. It's a fun way to teach children how long to wash their hands! You may request up to 3 timers through the APHA web site.
