Celebrate Bee-a-thon 2011 to Help Kick Off the Great Bee Count
On July 16, join bee counters across the nation celebrating Bee-a-thon 2011 by hosting/attending “backyard bee parties” and other garden events. Bee-a-thon 2011 is the first-ever online “town hall” event dedicated to pollinators and will broadcasting live to worldwide audiences from 9 am to 9 pm US-Pacific Time.
Bee-a-thon 2011 is a fun, interactive family-friendly event featuring top experts in science, conservation, youth engagement and education. You can tune-in to Bee-a-thon anytime throughout the day from your garden, your home, on your mobile device or from a “backyard bee parties” to listen in and ask questions in real time.
Bee-a-thon 2011 is hosted by YourGardenShow.com to kick-off the Great Bee Count, a national Citizen Science campaign to count bees throughout North America and to help shape bee conservation efforts.
